Gwen Sheldon's Biography Bio on Gwen Sheldon Gwen was originally from Southwestern Ohio where she began he relationship with the Lord at an early age. Her parents, and four siblings were always active in church. And as an adult, she has remained faithful serving in many positions from membership secretary, Adult ladies Sunday school teacher to women’s fellowship leader and choir member. Gwen is a registered nurse with over 30 years experience in ICU, Hemodialysis, PACU, and Day Surgery. But she says her most fulfilling position was that of Executive Director for a crisis pregnancy center in Ohio. When she moved to Tennessee she knew God had a women’s ministry for her there. New Vision Ministries was founded out of her desire to encourage, motivate, and help ladies re- focus their purpose in life. " We (Christians) are losing too many soldiers to burn-out, complacency, and hopelessness. I feel compelled to share the hope, love, and healing that comes from our Saviour, which so many have lost site. These are the ones that need a New Vision!" --- Gwen Sheldon She ministers to ladies in small group retreats in her home and also travels to churches to speak at banquets, conferences, and luncheons. Gwen has authored several devotions and Bible studies, many which have been published on Titus2menandwomen.org website. She has spoken at banquets and seminars throughout Ohio and Tennessee. She has a son, Paul, serving in the US Army. She and her husband Bruce currently reside in Wears Valley, Tennessee, and attend Freedom Baptist Church of Pigeon Forge. |
