Recovery Ministries (RM) was founded by Jay and Stephanie Allbright and is a ministry of the New Life Baptist Church of Mooresville, Indiana. Jay has been in the ministry for 26 years and through a tragedy in his own marriage he has felt the burden for this ministry. The purpose and goal of RM is the restoration of troubled marriages in our churches and behind the pulpit. The statistics are alarming to say the least. The only profession that has a higher troubled marriage rate than police officers are pastors. The divorce rate among Christian people has now elevated to an alarming rate of 60%. There are specific reasons why this is true and the reasons may surprise you. Recovery Ministries has a goal of offering "no cost" help for those struggling in this area. Personal counsel is given in a private setting with hotline help available at all times. Special conferences are held at churches all over the country dealing with both the trouble in the Christian marriage and trouble in the marriage of the pastoral staff. Two conferences will be held each year at our own facility. One will deal with marriage "Issues relevant to pastors and staff members only." The other conference will deal with "Equipping pastors to deal with marital issues in their churches." Jay and Stephanie are currently traveling to present RM to various churches. They hope to gain financial support so that the cost to people in need of assistance remains nothing. Land has already been donated to build a facility, which will house RM. There will be a conference room, offices and apartments where people will be able to stay free of charge while they are getting the help they need. If you are interested in donating to the building of this facility you may contact us by phone at 317-402-8321 or email us at recovery90@hotmail.com. You can also check us out on the web: www.recoveryministries.com. Publications will be available by many who are proven authorities on the subject
as well the founder. Jay is 45 years old; he attended the Pacific Coast Baptist
Bible College, Faith Baptist College and is currently working on his Masters
in the field of Biblical Counseling. Jay is a member of the AACC, American Association
of Christian Counselors.
