“In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth.”
The earth was forsaken as dried up from a dearth;
Then God said, “Let there be light”
And parted the darkness, making everything bright.

Then He made the Heavens, dividing waters,
And seas, and land, as clay for the potters;
He made the trees, grass, and the stars of the sky,
And the sun, and the moon to navigate by.

He then made the fish, and fowls of the air,
Animals and bugs, and man so fair;
Then He took one day to rest,
And looking on creation, He blessed.

He made a garden and put man therein;
That’s where man fell by Adam’s great sin;
Exiled was he from God’s paradise,
And a Redeemer was needed to pay sins’ price.

For thousands of years none was found,
Until a virgin named Mary, Holy and sound,
Found grace in the eyes of the Father above,
And bore to the world, the King of Love.

The angels proclaimed to all far and near,
“A Savior is born” come all, and give ear;
This was the One, the answer to sin;
He who would conquer death, o’er Satan he’d win.

“Come unto me” is His message to all,
“Come and find life” the gift of His call;
He was beaten and scourged, and bore much pain;
He was spit on, and mocked, because of sin’s stain.

He was nailed to a cross, and left there to die;
For the sin of mankind, one might ask “Why?”
Because He was the King of Love,
And reigned with the Blessed Father above.

He rose from the dead on the third day;
After they’d buried Him and put Him away;
“He lives” is the echoing  shout in the skies,
“He’s coming back” is the message on which man relies.

He’ll take us up who belong to Him,
And we’ll live evermore and be happy within.
And oh, what a glorious day that will be,
When Jesus my Savior comes for me;

We’ll feast together in the glory of Heaven
We’ll eat the sweetness and Bread unleavened;
We’ll commune with our Lord on His Heavenly shore,
And dwell in His grace for evermore.

Come join the feast, the admission is free,
The price has been paid back at Calvary.
