Nothing Secular

I want to address something that I've heard for so long, that as that great theologian Popeye once said, "I've stood all I could and I canst stood no more!" Recently, my attention has been caught by it again, and with all the gentleness of a bulldozer, I hope to drive soem tent stakes deeper, so when those full of hot air come blowing , they'll hyper-ventilate and stand there long enough to listen.

My faith doesn't just determine my personal policy decisions, it is also to determine my public policy decisions!

For years, I've heard the talking heads on T.V. talk about how "faith has it's place" and public policy is not it. We have been told that we can keep our faith and our convictions, as long as they stay inside the church house, and have no influence on the courthouse, the schoolhouse, or the white house. The secular society has told us that we can live by our morals and spiritual values all we want, but we have no businesswhatsoever trying to instill our "morality" into legislation. The only thing more frustrating than them saying that, is the fact that many Bible believing Christians have agreed to that.

Just for a minute, I want you to think about something that they don't want you to think about. I want you to turn the tables on them, and show you that the Devil has no rules. He plays with no scruples. He fights to kill and will at any cost. In their eyes, we are monsters because we want our morals reflected in legislation. In their mouths, we have no right to do that. Let me ask you this? What do you think they're doing? Whose morals are winning? Please, please, please realize this, "Non-morality" is a 'morality'. Somebody's morals will be reflected in legislation. There is no such thing as "non-morality"! Don't be fooled!

It is by my Faith and my Bible beliefs that I know that a family begins with one man and one woman! The state of Massachusetts has said in essence, we have no right to define marriage based on our faith or morality, therefore they will define it based upon theirs. They have said that a marriage may be between a man and a man. Here is the point! They have fooled people into believing that we have no right to put our morals into legislation, while the entire time that is exactly what they are doing!

They are guilty of what they are accusing us of. Now here is the important thing to remember. Somebody's faith, somebody's morality, somebody's ideas will be reflected in our country's rules. When someone says, "I don't believe in God," they have just told you what they believe. There is no such thing as being "without a belief".

Don't be decieved, those who oppose our faith and morality, do so based upon their faith and morality. If we don't have the right to define marriage and family, then who said they could? If we don't have the right to call an unborn baby a baby, then what gives them the right to call it a fetus?

My whole point in this article is for you to realize that the issue is not, whethe or not the Religious who are in authority, have the right to make decisions based upon their faith, because the NON-religious who are in authority make decisions based upon their faith. EVERYBODY, Religious, Non-religious, Saved, Lost, Conservative, Liberal, Democrat, Republican, Independent, or Nazi, makes their public policy decisions based upon what they believe, or inother words, their FAITH! Don't be decieved, Faith governs this country! The real issue is, whose faith? Don't ever back off, when you are told that your beliefs have no place in public policy. Public policy is made up of somebody's beliefs, and our beliefs are more credible that that of the worlds. Their basic battle philosophy is to fool us into thinking that we have no business in the battle. They want us to go home so they can govern. The truth is that one day my King is going to come home and He will govern.

What am I stirring you to do? I want you to pray. When I say pray, I mean talking and listening to God. Quietly, calmly and seriously. We must realize that our faith is to determine our personal decisions, and when we are in places of authority, our faith is to determine our public decisions. We must lift up our leaders, and our voters. We must live quiet peacable lives and as scripture says, if at all possible live peacably with all men. The question arises, how are we to fight a battle over public policy and live peacably? On our knees. My God can trump their vote, and believe me, I will ask Him to do that. We must go to the King of Congress, to the Real Chief Justice over the Supreme Courts of the land, and ask Him to set aside the ungodly verdicts. After all, He is my Father, and I fully expect preferential treatment. I plan wholeheartedly to use my relationship with the Creator for personal advancement behind closed doors, to fix elections, to manipulate policies, and to ask for kickbacks. He believes in and practices Nepotism, because He has promised me that I will have a place in His administration one of these days, and nobody is going to say a thing about it.

There really is nothing secular. Everybody makes decisions based upon their faith, or what they believe. Always contend for God's Righteousness, because "Righteousness exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." Proverbs 14:34
