"What we know about God and how we live in the light of it is the difference between:

  ---spiritual life and death

---life and abundant life

---rest and turmoil

---finding a refuge or being a fugitive" Kay Arthur

Is. 50:10........God wants us to "...trust in the name of the LORD, and stay (rely) upon his God."

Ps. 124:8........"Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made Heaven and earth."

Prov.18:10......"The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe."

Ps. 20:7..........."Some trust in chariots, and some in horses,; but we will remember the name of the LORD our God."

Psalms 9:10 "And they that KNOW Thy name will (not may or could) put their trust in Thee..."

Ladies, I know from personal experience that the hardest thing for us to learn as children of God is to trust what we cannot see. But trust is what God so desires of us so that He can abundantly take care of us. This is so vital to our life on earth that he allowed adversity to the point of death so that men would learn to trust ONLY in Him. II Corinthians 1:8-9 "For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:"

I would like to couple those verses with Proverbs 3:5-8, " Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding; In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes; fear (reverentialy trust) the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones." These verses say to me that if we trust God with all of our hearts He will direct our paths and it will be marrow to our bones. Bone marrow is health or illness to the whole body.
