Jeremiah 9:23-24 "Thus saith the LORD, , Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches. But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving-kindness, judgement, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD." We are to glory (boast, rave, celebrate, praise) in the fact that we understand and know God. In Bible times a name represented a person’s character. God’s name represents His character, attributes, nature. To know His name is to know God. Ladies, a correct knowledge and trust in the person of God will affect our relationship with the LORD, ourselves, others, and the world. I have learned in the deepest valleys of my life that if I want to solve a problem or gain understanding I only have to go back to the Word of God and see again who God is....what He will ALWAYS do because that is His character. There may not always be a change of circumstances, environment, change of our past or our future, but Jehovah God is always enough! He is totally sufficient for ALL things! But we need to know who our God is.."Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth." Psalms 124:8. Psalms 9:10, "And they who know thy name WILL put their trust in Thee; for thou LORD, hast not forsaken those who seek Thee." Elohim
Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God (Elohim)..." The trinity created the Heavens and the earth, and man, and everything. ***Why were we created? Colossians 1:16---Elohim created us for Himself Revelation 4:11- and for His pleasure (His will) "Our God (ELOHIM) created us for His glory, for His pleasure...His will. Our lives are to be lived in such a way as to show the world the character of God---we are to live for Him to accomplish His will." I know from experience that to miss this is to have existed rather than to have lived.
