Question:We would like to make some prayer cloths for our Bible Study.... We would like to know all about the cloths. Answer:Concerning your question about prayer cloths: You are right, they are not mentioned in the Bible. Do I think they would be good to use? No.Why? God's name is Jehovah-Rapha which means the God Who heals His children. The Bible plainly teaches we are supposed to walk by faith not by sight...and I believe if we need a prayer cloth we are saying we need something we can see...something more than faith in the Lord. And if we put any power in a piece of cloth we are putting something between us and God...and the Bible calls that idolatry. Let us also remember God says he is a jealous God and will not share His glory. If we attribute any power to a piece of cloth I believe we are taking away from the Glory of God. Under God's Wings,
