Biography

Teddi Neevel

Hello, 

My name is Teddi Neevel and I had the wonderful privilege of being born into a Christian home. I was the third of four children in the family and the only girl. My family was very typical California middle class. I can't remember ever not going to a Bible teaching church when I was growing up. I asked Jesus into my heart when I was 5 years old and have never doubted that He saved me. 

As a teenager I was told that I would never be able to have children. While this upset me, I just knew I would someday be able to adopt some children.  After high school, I attended two years of Bible College.  When God failed to send "Mr. Right" to the same college I decided to go looking for a husband on my own. What a horrible mistake that was! 

When I finally yielded my life to the Lord seven years later, He gave me the desires of my heart. God led me from California to Wisconsin where I met a wonderful man. Fred, was not only a Christian, he was a single father with 5 sons.  So I married a family. Although I had never been married before, in allowing me to grow up with only brothers God had prepared me to step into this wonderful family. God soon blessed us with the miracle the doctors had said was impossible. We added two more sons to the family.   Our boys are now men with families of their own. (Grandbaby number 24 is due in spring 2004!) 

Fred and I now live in Arkansas where we are actively serving the Lord. I took Isaiah 40:31 as my life verse many years ago. What joy to know that God's promise is "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." This is just as true today as it was hundreds of years ago.  It is amazing to look back and see the great and mighty things that God has done in my life. I am so unworthy of His love and grace.
