Doctrinal Statement
- The Staff & Writers of Titus 2 Men And Women believe that the
Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God, His revelation to man, inerrant
and preserved in the English language in the Authorized King James Version,
1611 AD; and that it is therefore the supreme and final authority in
all matters of doctrine, faith and life. (II Tim 3:15-17; II Peter 1:19-21;
Hebrews 1:1; Psa 119:160).
- The Staff & Writers of Titus 2 Men And Women believe in the Holy
Trinity (God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) [Deut 6:4; Gen 1:26; Matt
3:16, 17; John 1:1, 2; 10:30; 15:26]: that Jesus Christ is eternal,
was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, took our judgment for sin
when He died on the cross and shed His precious blood, was raised from
the dead on the third day, appeared to His disciples after the resurrection,
ascended back to Heaven, and is coming again for His saints in the event
known as the rapture [Jn 3:16; 10:30; Matt 1:18-25; Gal 4:4,5; Phil
2: 6-10; Heb 4:15; 10:10; II Cor 5: 19, 21; I Pet 3:18]; that the Holy
Spirit is the blessed third person of the Trinity, and that He convicts
the sinner and indwells and seals the believer [Jn 14:16-18; 16:7-13;
I Cor 12:13; Eph 1:13; 4:30].
- The Staff & Writers of Titus 2 Men And Women believe in the existence
of a real devil who was created as an angel of light, and through his
rebellion against God, was cast out of Heaven with those angels who
followed him in the rebellion, and now those angels serve him as demon
spirits [Isa 14:12-15; Ezek 28:12-19; II Cor 4:3, 4; I Pet 5:8; Rev
12:9, 10; Luke 10:18].
- The Staff & Writers of Titus 2 Men And Women believe the Genesis
account of creation in which man was created spontaneously by God and
was without sin in the creation; that man, by choice, rebelled against
God, and because of this sin man's spirit became separated from God
and incurred the penalty of death through his sin [Gen 1:1, 26, 27;
Rom 5:12,-19; Psa 51:5; Gal 3:11; Rom 3:10, 11, 23; II Cor 5:14, 15,
19]; that man can only be rightly related to God through the experience
of the New Birth, and that this birth is the salvation experience and
can only be experienced by repentance of sin and personal faith in the
Lord Jesus Christ; that the believer is eternally saved and can never
be lost [Jn 1:12; 3:3-5; Gal 3:26; I Jn 3:1, 2; Jn 10:27-29; Rom 5:8-11;
8:35-39; 11:29; Heb 7:25; Jn 5:9-13; Jude 1].
- The Staff & Writers of Titus 2 Men And Women believe in the prominence
of the visible church; that the church of the Lord Jesus Christ is His
visible body to carry out the Great Commission in this age, and that
one cannot be true to the scriptures and disassociate himself from the
ministry of the local gospel preaching church [Acts 2:41-47; 14:27;
Eph 4:11-16; 5:26, 27; I Tim 3:1-15; Titus 1:5-11].
- The Staff & Writers of Titus 2 Men And Women believe in the rapture
of the church when Christ will take away His saints to be with Him and
will return to earth with the saints to set up His earthly kingdom for
1,000 years, and that the kingdom will be followed by eternity future
[I Thess 4:13-17; Titus 2:12, 13; I Cor 15:51-57; Rev 19:11-16; 20:1-9;
Phil 2:9-11].
- The Staff & Writers of Titus 2 Men And Women believe in the conscious
eternal blessedness of the saved [I Thess 4:14-17; Rev 21, 22; Jn 14:1-6;
Phil 1:21-23; Jn 11:25, 26], and the conscious eternal punishment of
the wicked in hell and the lake of fire [Rev 20:11-15; 21:8; Mark 9:48;
Rom 6:23; Matt 25:30, 41; Luke 13:28].
Webmaster Comments:
Although the Staff of Titus 2 Men And Women attend Baptist churches, we
do not believe being a Baptist gets someone into Heaven. We believe regardless
of the country you live in, the color of your skin, how much money you
have, what you have done in your past, your religious denomination or
how bad you think you are, to get into Heaven, you must put your
faith in Jesus Christ and accept Him as YOUR Personal Saviour! If you
have never done this, click here to read
how!
