Bible Puzzle Answer

By Marty Dunn

Find 14 Bible characters in the story below, 6 of which are also Books of the Bible.   Some are easy, and some not so easy, have fun!

One is a place, and not a person. (Sheba) I showed this for a bonus.

I recently heard a most exciting story in which a damsel went to a ball game with several friends.  This particular evening the home team was losing by a considerable margin, it was a real job to keep one’s mind focused on the game, since the crowd proved to be more interesting than the game!

Paula, (that was the damsel’s name) was in hysterics as a couple, two rows down began to get very “fidgety” in their seats.   The problem turned out to be ants!   Yes, red ants had “taken over” the lower section of the bleachers, and were biting everyone in sight!   The whole thing was a real fluke, just as the ballgame turned out to be!   Marking her place, Paula moved closer for a better look, and lo, and behold, there was an ant hill under the bleachers!   It was so high that it reached the third row of seats!   No wonder they were all over the place!

Pat, another lady in the group, was on the floor rolling over with laughter.   Her embarrassed husband was shouting “Get a grip, Pat,” and the whole scene was just as hilarious as could be.   The ball game stunk, but the entertainment was great!  One old hag gained our attention when she began beating the ants with her umbrella, it broke  in half as she began swatting people, and “beating the air” so to speak; she was hitting everything in sight, except the ants!   She brewed up quite a storm, and before long, Philip and Martha were trying to wrestle her to the floor, attempting to get the deadly umbrella away from her.   She backed away, and fell off the end of the bleachers!   No one was hurt, and it became a truly unforgettable event, surpassing the ball game by far! I’ll never forget it, usually the ballgame captures ones interest, but this time it was the spectators that stole the show!
