Share The Blessings - Titus 2 Men And Women's New Missionaries:
The Sanders And Crossley
The staff of Titus 2 Men and Women have known for several months that
God was leading us to help meet the needs of some missionaries. As we
began praying for the Lords direction our burden focused on children.
Now that may seem a bit strange to some of you, but God had a plan.
In April John and Sharon Sanders came home from Brasov, Romania on leave/deputation.
The Sanders have worked in church building and teaching at the Bible
Institute in Romania for a number of years. Sharon is a registered nurse.
The Romanian State officials have allowed her to go into the orphanges
to treat and teach the children. One of Sharons goals is to see
that each week, each child recieves a piece of fresh fruit. I was waiting
expectantly to hear Sharon talk of their work in the orphanges because
the need is great. To my amazement, she only mentioned their work briefly
before she began to share the ministry of Brian and Tamyra Crossley.
The Crossleys with their three children arrived in Brasov, Romania
less than a year ago. When they debarked they were greeted with the news
that there were three foster children waiting to live with them.
Tamyra shared their ministry with us by e-mail.
"We have been in Brasov now for almost a year. We have several
different ministries we are doing. Our primary focus is a Children's Home
but we also do a ministry called Full house (Casa Plina). We feed, teach
and minister to the street kids at least once a week. Brian teaches at
the seminary here and we both teach classes at the Brasov church. Brian
is also in the process of putting together and evangelism team to branch
out to the surrounding villages.
We have a total of 9 children living in our home at this time.
Three are our own and six are Romanian. All of the orphan children we
have came from the orphanages. I don't want to write a book but I have
listed a little about each child and their circumstances so you can get
a feel for what they have gone through. You are welcome to share what
you would like with others. I would love a list of good materials on how
to help my children. Each one of them has been abused (sometimes by parents,
orphanage workers and even other orphan children). They have all been
totally rejected and come to us with a lot of problems and a very low
self-esteem."
As Tamyra says in her email, their goal is to establish a children's
home, eventually more than one. Where children will be loved, educated,
and trained by parents instead of just warehoused.

We at Titus 2 Men and Women desire to help meet the needs of the Sanders
and Crossleys as they minister to the homeless, abused and abandoned
children in Romania. We invite you to join us with any offering the Lord
lays on your heart.
Donations can be made for the Romanian Children's Home project and ALL
money will go directly into projects to care for these children and other
Romanian street orphans that this missionary home cares for.
