Shopping Tips

On Sunday afternoon I sit down with my paper and take out all the sales adds. I have my grocery list writ there with me so I can see who has what on sale. You might want to have a list of gift items you will be purchasing there also so you can check the ads. Find out who has what you need on sale and write it down by store with the price next to the item under the stores name. Then check the coupons to see if any apply to what you are going to purchase. I don't recommend that you clip all the coupons because it just tempts you to buy items you don't need. After I have done my grocery pricing I then look at the other ads for house hold or gift items that are to be purchased. I make my list the same way with listing the item price and store. In my area there is two stores who will honor their competitors adds so I take my list, coupons, and adds and go to these stores to shop. We have Meijer and Super Kmart who will honor all competitors adds. So take time to check out the stores in your area.
