I am writing on behalf of Gwen Sheldon, a dear friend and former member of the Baptist Tabernacle.

Gwen served faithfully in our church for many years. She taught our Beginner II Sunday School class for over 20 years. People often still refer to our 4 & 5 year olds’ class as "Miss Gwen’s class." Many of the teenagers and young adults in our church have fond memories of Sunday School because of the influence that Gwen had on them at an early age.

In addition, she was active in our ladies’ ministry, founding our ladies’ Heart To Heart Sunday School class shortly before she moved to Tennessee. She also held the position of Church Clerk for several years, diligently taking minutes of our business meetings and keeping track of our membership rolls.

Without hesitation, I can recommend Gwen to you because of her servant’s heart, her love and service for the Lord, and her talents for teaching, writing, and ministering to those in need.
